Description

Folios 150-151: James Sykes, Arundel Street, [London]. Encloses Admiral Cochrane's order of 6 April 1807 appointing Captain W S Parkinson from HMS Wasp to HMS Favorite. Asks for his commission to be grantedFolios 152-153: enclosure with folios 1501-151. Order dated 5 April 1807 from Sir Alexander Cochrane, Rear Admiral of the White, Commander in Chief at Barabados and the Leeward Islands, given on board HMS Northumberland, Carlisle Bay, Barbados, signed by command of the Rear Admiral by John S Tracey, to W S Parkinson, Commander of HMS Wasp. Acting Captain John Buller of HMS Favorite has been removed to the command of HMS Dart. He is directed to take command of HMS Favorite.
