Folios 146-147: John Pengelly, HMS Pegasus, the Swin. Reports that Thomas Green, alias Thomas James, matches the description in the enclosed indenture [not present] and ran away from his Master, Richard Chapman, because of ill treatment. He wishes to remain in the Navy.
Folios 148-149: enclosed with folios 146-147. Letter dated 24 March 1806 from Richard Chapman, 3 Ashby Street, St John Street, Clerkenwell, to the Admiralty. Seeks the discharge of his apprentice Thomas Green, who is currently serving aboard HMS Pegasus at Harwich under the name Thomas James.
