Description

Folios 376-377: James Sykes, Naval Agents, Arundel Street. He encloses Sir John Thomas Duckworth's commission to appoint William Parkinson to HMS Hound.

Folios 378-379 enclosure with folios 376-377. Orders dated 4 May 1804 from Sir John Thomas Duckworth, Rear Admiral Jamaica and Bahamas to William Parkinson Lieutenant on HMS Desire. Captain Maxwell has been moved to HMS Shark and Captain Ayscough has gone to HMS Renard and Captain Wills is deceased so Parkinson is to become Captain of HMS Hound.
