Folios 196-197: Shuldham Peard, Sea Fencibles, Fowey. William Silver had not told him of his illness so he reported him fit for service at sea. He now declares his sight is very bad from an injury on June 23 1795 on HMS Neptune so he cannot serve at sea. He is sending letters from John Warren and William Silver.
Folio 198: enclosure with folios 196-197. Letter dated 7 May 1805 by John Wesser, Mevagissy. He cannot serve aboard a ship at sea as he has a complaint that made him quit HMS [Hercule] in February 1802.
Folios 199-200: enclosure with folios 196-197. Letter dated 20 June 1805 by William Silver, Fowey. He was declared unfit for service at sea on 20 August 1804 from a survey on HMS Neptune because of violent rheumatism.
