Folios 146-147: Francis Pender, HMS Royal Sovereign, Hamoaze. He is reporting the names of the Lieutenants in the action off Trafalgar. He was not present as he was detached with Admiral Louis. The 1st Lieutenant on HMS Queen was Henry Wilday, the 2nd was Westby Percival. The 1st Lieutenant on HMS Royal Sovereign was John Clavel who was made a Commander when Captain Duff was killed. The 1st lieutenant was William Edward Barker and the 2nd is now Joseph Simmons. He will ask Captain Rotherham about Master's mates and Midshipmen who performed well.
