Folios 87-88: John Peyton, Sea Fencibles, Lymington. Is sending names of men possibly fit for service at sea.
Folio 89: enclosure with folios 87-88. James Fegan, George Pace, Peter Samwills and James Noyce are all possibly fit for service at sea.
Folio 90: enclosure with folios 87-88. Letter dated 5 May 1805 byJames Fegan, Kingston, to Captain John Mason Lewis. He was 27 years at sea as a Lieutenant and Master but was wounded in the head on HMS Druid and then fell aboard HMS Acheron and had his arm cut about. The Surgeon said he was unfit for sea and he was appointed to the Sea Fencibles but he could serve in a prison ship.
Folio 91: enclosure with folios 87-88: Letter dated 9 May 1803 by Peter Samwills to Captain LewisHe had a rupture at Minorca while on HMS Goliath and was appointed to HMS Blenheim but was surveyed at Plymouth Hospital and given a job in Sea Fencibles.
Folios 92-93: Letter dated 9 May 1805 byThomas Beck, Surgeon, Poole. He has examined George Pace of the Sea Fencibles but declares him unfit for service because of hemorrhoidal flux and ulcers.
