Folios 178-179: Richard Poulden, Regulating Officer, Whitby Rendezvous. Encloses a letter from the Master of the Trial Revenue about the cost of victualling newly raised men who he conveys to Hull or Shields. Advises that in a similar application the Master of the Mermaid was paid 15d a day on Admiralty orders.
Folios 180-181: enclosed with folios 178-179. Letter dated 7 July 1805 by John Holley, the Trial Revenue, Whitby to Richard Poulden, Regulating Captain, Whitby. Advises Revenue Cruisers are allowed 17d a day for victualling but he has received no more than 15d a day for each man raised from Whitby Rendezvous. Asks for the higher allowance.
