Folios 242-243: William Allen Proby, HMS Amelia, Woolwich. Requests a sufficient number of Press Warrants to give to the Officers whom it will necessary to employ in completing the Complement of this Ship. The Boats succeeded last night in getting twenty five and it would be good means of securing them if he was allowed some Hired Cutter to meet their baggage in the Portland call in their way down the river, to take the men with all their belongings to the Guard Ship at the Nore. He is getting lists prepared and Instructions for an Officer of this Ship if their Lordship's should please to acquaint their Requirements.
