Folios 218-219: William Allen Proby, HMS Amelia. States in obedience to a memorandum from Rear Admiral Bartholomew Samuel Rowley he states that Willaim Bennett was Prest by Lieutenant ?of HMS Amelia in Faversham Creek. He produced no indenture at that time but he believes the one returned you herewith to be a true one.
Folios 220-221: enclosure with folios 218-219. Letter dated 26 January 1804 by Francis Engleheart, to the Admiralty. States he is instructed by Mr Michael Mark Overton of Scarborough, Owner & Master of the Leith of Scarborough about William Bennett his Indentured servant who was impressed from his ship on 1 March 1804 and now on HMS Amelia. He requests his discharge.
