Says they were making for the English land not Alderney.

Impressed by HMS Ameila from a Privateer that they were delivering from the Isle of Weight to Alderney for Oliver Merchant, Alderney owner. Say being Ships Masters they're exempt from impress and were told they would be put on land but haven't.
