Folios 367-368: William Pierrepont, Farley Hill, Godalming. Replying to Admiraly letter of 22 February with regard to the character of John Le Bozac, who served as Pilot on HMS Naiad when under his command in 1880. A sober, quiet man by far the best Pilot for the coast from Passage La Four to the Bay of Queberon and deserving of any indulgences that may be granted to him.
