Folios 348-349: Charles Vinicombe Penrose, Padstow. Confirms that Lieutenant Fernandes joined him at St Ives on 9 November and Lieutenant Jone Jones arrived with him in consequence of letter from Mr Marsden stating that Lieutenant Robert Julyan had joined him at St Ives. With the extent of St Ives Bay and Hayle being on the opposite side of the water from the town of St Ives another Lieutenant would be very useful. Lieutenant Ferdandes is under Captain Oughton to take charge of Fencibles and district of St Just and seamen near Whitsand Bay, Lieutenant Jones from Portreath to New Key and Lieutenant Julyan the ports to the east of this place under his direction.
Folio 350: Note dated November 15. Lieutenant F. N. Clark to be appointed from the Sea Fencibles at Barton under Captain Bazeley to the opposite side of the Humber under Captain Cuthbert.
