Folios 275-276: Edward Pellew, HMS Tonnant, Cawsand Bay. Replying to request of 6 May with regard to the number of men raised by him and his officers towards completing his complement and any above complement discharged since 7 March. States that since 16 March, date Tonnant comissioned has raised 59, principally volunteers as Petty Officers, impressed about 16 who have been sent on board the Salvador del Mundo by order of the Commander in Chief at the port. Still about 300 short of complement.
