Folios 260-261: Edward Pellew, London. Replying to the two letters of 22 February from the Admiralty with regard to character and abilities of Pilots, Christopher Maurice and James Le Bourdiar [?]. Confirms both were sober good Pilots from Ushant as far as Rochfort and superior to most he had met.
