Description

Folios 256-257: Richard Harrison Pearson, Plymouth. Having been informed by Admiral Sir John Coypoys that he is superceded in command of the Doris due to his application for leave to recover his health, quitting his ship is something never wished or imagined, requests to be allowed to rejoin his ship at the end of the time granted to officers at Sick Quarters or sooner if health permits.
