Folios 343-345: Henry Powlett, HMS Defence, Cork. States that having condemned four Patent Cables between the months of February 1800 and June 1801notwithstanding HMS Defence has had very little Cable Service having been much at sea and all last winter in Portsmouth Harbour. He macks observations on the cables. [Total of four plus sides].
