Folios 276-277: Charles William Paterson, HMS San Fiorenzo, Torbay. He informs that on Saturday 7 March 1801 after having communicated their orders to the Masters of the vessels bound to the Coast of Portugal to remain. He left Portland Roads with the vessels bound to the Mediterranean, that this morning the wind shifted so he put into Torbay.
