Folios 244-245: Charles Dudley Pater, HMS Shannon, Yarmouth Roads. Covering letter for the enclosed order from Admiral Archibald Collingwood Dickson directing him to bring to England, Lord Carysfort [John Proby, 1st Earl of Carysfort] and his Family which were at that time supposed at Hamburgh or Cuxhaven. He requests directions be given for him to be paid the sum allowed on that service.
Folio 246: enclosure with folios 244-245. Letter dated 16 October 1801 b7y Admiral Archibald Collingwood Dickson, HMS Blenheim, Yarmouth Roads, to Charles Dudley Pater, HMS Shannon. Orders to proceed to Cuxhaven for the purpose of bringing over Lord Carysfort [John Proby, 1st Earl of Carysfort] and his Family to England.
