Folios 230-231: Charles Dudley Pater, HMS Shannon, Great Nore. Covering letter for the enclosed List of men's names entitled to Bounty, and observe that Thomas Langley who the Muster Master has refused to pay, is five feet six or 7 inches high by no means a very young look, has been doing his duty for near six months on the Forecastle & is in every respect as good a man as we have in the ship, he said he was twenty when he entered. [Gives details of how he pays the Officers and Men and how he has witnesses].
