Covering letter for the enclosed letter from the Purser of HMS Shannon with an account of the provisions destroyed by the Rats. - Also [not present] a weekly account together with the defects of HMS Shannon, which he thought it his duty as Vice Admiral Charles Morice Pole has not yet arrived.
