Folios 187-188: George Parker, HMS Santa Margarita, Spithead. Reply to letter dated 27 July 1801 informing him that it was their directions that he should give sailing instructions to the Masters of such ships bound to the West Indies as may apply to him for the same transmitted to you a daily list of such ships whose Masters receive instructions from him. He reports he has made the signal for Convoy to the West Indies in compliance with their Order but no application has been made to him for instructions.
