Folios 168-169: George Parker, HMS Santa Margarita, Plymouth Sound. States he has received their letter enclosing the Petition of Jane Marte, Mother of the late W J Anchenhck[?] 1st Surgeons Mate of HMS Santa Margarita who he is sorry to say was in every respect different from what he is represented to have been by his Mother. As no person on board HMS Santa Margarita in the station of a Gentleman assisted with him for some time previous to his death, he cannot learn whether he received all his Prize Money, but to the best of his recollection a distribution was made for all Prize action by HMS Santa Margarita that he was entitled to share for previous to his decease. If there is any Prize Money due to him it may be recovered by application being made to W Desborrugh[?] Agent Victualler at Martinque, who was agent for all Captures made by HMS Santa Margarita. He returns the enclosures [not present].
