Folios 156-157: George Parker, HMS Santa Margarita. Informs that Mr Stephen Dyer appointed Boatswain of HMS Santa Margarita last May has superseded Mr James Bessey who has been Acting Boatswain since the former Boatswain deserted and has always conducted himself to his satisfaction. He recommends him qualified for that station and request you will solicit them to order him to be discharged (in lieu) into HMS Royal William as he does not think he can do his duty in a subordinate station in HMS Santa Margarita.
