Folios 108-109: Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, off Genoa. He writes to the Admiralty enclosing the statement of Charles Washington, alias Simeon Fay, who deserted from HMS Inflexible in February 1796. He is now aboard HMS Minotaur and Benjamin Page asks that he is returned to HMS Inflexible.
Folios 110-111: enclosed with folios 108-109. Letter dated4 June, 1800 by Charles Washington, alias Simeon Fay, confesses that he deserted from HMS Inflexible and asks to be returned to that ship. Letter. 6 June, 1800. Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, writes to Francis Austen, HMS Peterell, enclosing a copy of the statement made by Charles Washington, alias Simeon Fay.
