Folios 104-105: Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, off Genoa. He writes to the Admiralty enclosing a statement from Charles Washington, alias Simeon Fay, who deserted from HMS Inflexible in February 1796. He is currently being held on board HMS Minotaur on the orders of Lord Keith and Benjamin Page appeals for his return to HMS Inflexible.
Folios 106-107: enclosed with folios 104-105. Letter dated 4 June, 1800. by Charles Washington, alias Simeon Fay. He confesses that he deserted from HMS Inflexible in February 1796 and surrendered to Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, on 4 June, 1800. Letter. 6 June, 1800. Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, Genoa. He writes to Francis Austen, HMS Peterell, informing him of the circumstances concerning Charles Washington, alias Simeon Fay.
