Folios 9-10: Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, Chatham. He encloses a letter from Lieutenant James Owen who was recently appointed to the ship. He asks that another Lieutenant is appointed.
Folios 11-12: enclosed with folios 9-10. Letter dated 4 February 1800 by James Owen Lucas, 20 Church Street, Soho, to Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, informing him that he is unfit to take up the post of Lieutenant.
Folios 13-14: enclosed with folios 9-10. Letter dated 6 February 1800 by James Owen Lucas, Church Street, Soho, to Benjamin Page, HMS Inflexible, informing him that his ill health continues to prevent him reporting for duty.
