Folios 220-221: John Chubb, HMS Danae, Jersey. He wishes to resign his warrant as Carpenter of HMS Danae.
Folios 222-223: enclosure with folios 220-221. Letter dated 6 May 1799 from William Allen Proby, HMS Danae, to Evan Nepean, Admiralty. Encloses letters. The one to William Sanders [not present] explains the reason for Mr Chubb's wish to resign and will convince their Lordships of his incapacity as an Officer.
