Folios 167-168: Charles Papps Price, HMS Badger, Isles St Marcou. He has sent HMS Grand Falkener [Falconer] to Portsmouth for provisions and stores for the islands. He has information that at Cherbourg and Havre there is talk of attempting the islands again, and 8 deserters from the islands are working with them. He has recently observed several of the flats getting past them from Havre and coming round Cape Barfleur from Cherbourg. He has informed Captain Colville and Captain Jones of this. He hopes this intelligence will lead to directions to complete their complement of Marines.
