Description

Folios 255-256: Francis Pinder, Great Pulteney Street, Bath. Acknowledges the letter asking when he will be fit to serve and reports that until he knows whether his illness has been caused by the severe weather in America or by the return of a liver complaint, he does not know the answer. Hopes the Admiralty will give him leave for a month or six weeks.
