Folios 241-242: Edward Pellew, HMS Impetueux, Torbay. Acknowledges the letter containing a petition from Jean le Gale and reports le Gale was sent aboard his ship from HMS Galatea in March 1796 when she was at Quiberon landing arms. Both he and Captain John Borlase Warren used le Gale as a messenger to the armies on shore, and he was later discharged to join his countrymen in chasse-marées.
