Folios 221-222: Edward Pellew, HMS Indefatigable, the Hamoaze. Reports that Admiral Sir Richard King has declined to allow him the usual number of followers to be discharged from HMS Indefatigable to join his new ship, who could be carried to Portsmouth in HMS Lowestoffe. Asks the Admiralty to allow him to take at least 18 men with him and suggests that if HMS Indefatigable under her new Captain, Henry Curzon, is going to Portsmouth that he and his followers could travel in her.
