Folios 205-206: Richard Harrison Pearson, HMS Ceres, the Downs. Reports his arrival from Jamaica with two merchant ships, having parted company with HMS Valiant and the rest of the convoy at Longitude 31d 15' West. He escorted those vessels bound for Liverpool and Bristol safely round Cape Clear, parted company with the remaining two vessels bound for London off the Scilly Isles but later caught up with other stragglers from the convoy. Encloses [not present] the state and condition of his ship, a copy of his journal and a partial convoy list.
