Folios 271-272: Charles Papps Price, HMS Badger, Isles St Marcou [Îles Saint-Marcouf]. States HMS Fly Tender going to England. He reports that nothing new has appeared on our coast. Reports there are two large Gun-Boats in La Hogue that protect their fishermen. He has applied to Sir Richard Strachan to make application to their Lordships for two or three of His Majesty's Gun Vessels to block them in their Bay, as they are too heavy for the hired Cutters to approach.
