Folios 244-245: Charles Papps Price, HMS Badger, Isles St Marcou [Îles Saint-Marcouf]. He wishes to represent the great anxiety of the Officers and Crew of HMS Badger and HMS Sandfly, concerning the delays of the Proctors, in the Prise Cayse of the Rebecca, captured by us on 27 December 1796, condemned, on our prosecution, by the Admiralty Court, and the Cargo Stored at a great expense: and a considerable time has elapsed since the condemnation, without the plea, preferred by Mr Gosling, being bought forward. They fear the entire Cargo will be absorbed in litigation, and warehouse charges, unless their Lordships will direct the Cargo to be decided on.
