Folios 236-237: Charles Papps Price, HMS Badger, Isles St Marcou [Îles Saint-Marcouf]. Reply to letter dated 15 May 1798 enclosing a copy of a letter from Mr Crew acquainting their Lordship's that an Engineer was ordered to proceed to St Marcou [Saint-Marcouf] to put the Blockhouses in repair. States as the Engineer is coming he spoke yesterday to Sir Richard John Strachan that in his opinion that three long 24 pounders on Colonel Eveliegh's circular housing platforms were placed in the North, South & West angles of the Western redoubt in place of the three Carronades it would add greatly to the defenceFolios 238-239: enclosure with folios 236-237.
