Folios 275-276: Edward Pellew, HMS Indefatigable off Scilly. He was assisted by Lieutenant Henry Hicks of the gunboat Assault in addressing the complaint against Mr Ryan midshipman said by Sanuel Parnall to have forcibly entered the Galliot and beaten Andrew Fleming and James Sullivan.
Folios 277-278: enclosure with folios 275-276. Letter dated 8 June 1798 from Lieutenant Henry Hick, HMS Gun vessel Assault describing the incident in more detail.
