Folios 272-273: Edward Pellew, HMS Indefatigable off Scilly. Regarding the impressing of Thomas Fletcher said to be the boatswain of the brig [Stedset?] as detailed in letters from the Duke of York lugger. The 4 men in the letter of 8 May will be put with those of Thomas Fletcher. He will place the gun brig Assault in the harbour to strengthen the battery on shore and placed the gun brig Hecate in Crow Sound to protect the east end of St Mary's Island with redcoats supplied by Major Bowen.
