Folios 100-101: George Parker, HMS Santa Margarita, Spithead. Enclosing a copy of his orders from VA Robert Kingsmill and his ship's defects. It will be necessary to have the ballast taken out to clear the timbers so that the water has a free passage to the well. He requests his ship be ordered into harbour to have her defects made good.
Folio 102: enclosure with folios 100-101. Letter dated 9 January 1798 from George Parker detailing the defects of HMS Santa Margarita.
Folio 103: enclosure with folios 100-101. Letter dated 2 December 1797 from Robert Kingsmill, HMS Penguin, Cork Harbour to George Parker, HMS Santa Margarita. He is ordered to take 4 brigs laden with provisions for the navy from Belfast to London plus any other trade requesting the same passage then proceed to Portsmouth to have the ship refitted and her crew paid.
