Folios 245-246: Stephen Poyntz, HMS Camilla, Spithead. Reports his arrival at port to replenish water and provisions by order of Captain Thomas Le Marchant Gosselin. A copy of these orders is enclosed [folios 247-248].
Folios 247-248: enclosure with folios 245-246. Orders dated 29 May 1797, from Captain Thomas Le Marchant Gosselin, HMS Syren to Captain Stephen Poyntz, HMS Camilla. As directed by Sir Richard Strachan, Captain of HMS Diamond, orders him to proceed to Spithead to complete provisions and to notify the Secretary of the Admiralty on his arrival.
