Folios 55-56: Thomas Peyton, HMS Minerva, Portsmouth Harbour. States he has on board a quantity of French crowns and Louis d'or removed from HMS Diamond to HMS Minerva on the capture of Sir Sidney Smith. Sir Richard John Strachan, Commander of the Squadron was aware of this but has not directed their removal. As HMS Minerva is due to go to the docks has requested authorisation from Charles Saxton for these to be deposited at the Pay Office.
