Folios 129-130: George Parker, HMS Santa Margarita, Dublin Bay. Informs that Mr Pelham informed him, that an embargo was laid on the Trade at this Port in consequence of information he had received of a Squadron of French Frogates being on the Coast, and expressed a desire that he should proceed to Sea with the Ships at this Port to reconnoitre the force of the Enemy; in consequence he ordered the Captains of HMS Champion & HMS Orestes to put themselves under his Command and shall proceed to Sea imediatly.
