Description

Folios 251-252: Henry Pemberton, Regulating Officer, Chester. Is sending his returns of men. He has told Denbighshire to raise substitutes with the money from fines. He will lift the restrictions on vessels and he asks about the Bounty belonging to Thomas Williams deceased Flint. Is sending a letter from the Mayor about billeting.

Folio 253: enclosure with folios 251-252. Letter dated 22 June 1795 by George Bingley, Mayor. Captain Pemberton is to pay 2d a day for each sailor billeted for small beer.
