Folios 244-245: Henry Pemberton, Regulating Officer, Chester. Is sending a list of men raised [not present] and a letter from the Mayor of Chester.
Folios 246-247: enclosure with folios 244-245. Letter dated 19 April 1795 by George Bingley Mayor, Chester. The Innkeepers of Chester complain about the numbers of soldiers billeted in town including Colonel Courtney's Light, Pembroke Fencibles, Cardigan Militia. Sailors would be too much for the place and should be sent to Liverpool.
