Folios 197-198: Israel Pellew, HMS Squirrel, the Downs. On January 9 1795 he received a letter from Lord St Helens asking him to delay sailing from Hellevoetsluis for a week so he could take him or to convoy the boat he was on. He left the harbour to wait off Goree but the weather closed in and he had to leave. He encloses the defects of the ship [not present but in folio 196]
