Folios 254-255: Israel Pellew, HMS Squirrel, Harwich. He encloses a statement from Lieutenant Childs explaining why Thomas Inkster was impressed.
Folios 256-257: enclosed with folios 254-255. Letter dated 25 August 1794 by John Childs, Lieutenant, HMS Squirrel. He says that Thomas Inkster was impressed because the desciption of his appearance in the protection notice did not match the reality.
