Folios 245-246: Israel Pellew, HMS Squirrel, the Nore. He reports that he convoyed the merchant fleet to Elsinore. On May 15 due to the mistake of the pilot, HMS Squirrel ran aground on the Anhault reef. Lieutenant Silver, HMS Ceres gave assistance, but it became necessary to jetison the stores and the guns, before the ship was refloated. He complains about the behaviour of the ships in the convoy who gave no assistance and sailed away.
