Folios 229-230: Charles William Paterson, HMS Gorgon, Long Reach. Reports that when the Master, Mr Chessell, was pressing men the previous day from the John and Robert of Newcastle, Henry Elliott, Master, he picked up a report relayed by an English vessel from the Baltic spoken off Orfordness of a large Swedish convoy of naval stores under French escort.
