Folios 205-206: Thomas Pasley, HMS Bellerophon, off the Lizard. Updates the report he made on 28 November after parting from the Channel Fleet, reports that off the Lizard he met Rear Admiral Sir John Jervis and gave him information about the French squadron he had been chasing. Off Lands End he met HMS Gibraltar, which had parted with Admiral Earl Howe off the Scilly Isles, and later HMS Vanguard parted company for Plymouth. Yesterday he encountered HMS Orpheus, HMS Centurion and HMS Resistance and earlier on 23 September he had spoken with the convoy escorted by HMS Inconstant, Captain Augustus Montgomery, who already had information on the French from Captain Sir Andrew Douglas.
