Description

Folios 197-198: Donat Henchy O'Brien, 10 Bury Street, St James's Square. Acknowledges the letter of 18 November. He was wounded on 8 November 1808 on board one of HMS Amphion's boats, as the enclosed document testifies [not present], having escaped from the fortress of Bitche in Lorraine, and having marched nearly 1300 miles to the head of the Adriatic.
