Description

Folios 237-238: Edward O'Bryen, Cliefden, Maidenhead, Berks. When HMS Poictiers was put out of commission a young gentleman called Palmer, nephew to the Dowager Lady Thomond, was handed over with the ship's company to HMS Tonnant. Sir John Beresford took charge of Mr Palmer at his recommendation. His friends have applied to him to place him with his brother. Requests that he be discharged from HMS Tonnant into HMS Warspite.
